Change Lives - Next Steps

Pathway Points

Stepping Up for Jesus

Time for the next installment of our journey along Grace Church’s Discipleship Pathway. This week, let’s take the Next Step on the Change Lives part. Remember, the descriptions are not meant to be exhaustive (or judgmental); they are intended for self-evaluation, and, with the Holy Spirit’s guidance, to help you better understand what each step on the Pathway looks like in the life of a believer.

The Next Step would be to regularly commit to serving on a ministry team and participating in ministries in our community as you begin to share your own faith in Christ. This can take on many forms, but the key is making a commitment to a team to serve regularly, rather than serving only once. Internally, this could be you agreeing to greet or usher once every 4-6 weeks. Maybe kids are your thing, so you could volunteer to help with Sunday School once per month. Externally, perhaps you agree to serve at Freaky Friday every week or Food of Faith each time we host. For more information, or to volunteer, talk to me, Pastor Eric, Pastor Jeff, or Marty Doring, our Missions Coordinator.

Stepping up with you in His strength!

At Grace, one of my responsibilities is to publish a weekly article in our e-newsletter, GraceNotes, about discipleship. Specifically, about the various components of our Discipleship Pathway and how a person could journey along it. This is my most recent article.
