As of last Sunday, it’s officially
Advent, a season of waiting and preparation for Jesus’s birth and a reminder
that we’re also waiting for his second coming. For those of you that aren’t
familiar with Advent (don’t worry, a lot of churches don’t observe it) here’s a
video from Busted Halo that does an
excellent job of explaining it: Advent in Two Minutes. For those of you that are ready to take the Next
Step, it’s not too late to start! Here are two online ways to observe Advent: Advent Calendar or InstaAdvent

Advent, remember it’s all about taking time to get to know Jesus a little
